Hierzu wird es eine Einführung zu Aufbau und Hintergründen des Konzepts »illiberale Demokratie« und deren Verfestigung geben. Aktivist*innen und Vertreter*innen der Zivilgesellschaft aus Polen, Rumänien und Ungarn in Berlin geben Einblicke in ihre Arbeit gegen die Verbreitung illiberaler Narrative und beantworten Fragen.”

“Illiberalne rzeczywistości występują nie tylko na Węgrzech, ale w całej UE – także w Niemczech. Jakie jednak są mechanizmy stojące za nimi? I co mogą zrobić aktywistki i aktywiści?
W tym celu odbędzie się wprowadzenie do struktur i tła koncepcji “demokracji illiberalnej” oraz sposobów jej umocnienia. Aktywistki/ści i przedstawicielki/e społeczeństwa obywatelskiego z Polski, Rumunii i Węgier w Berlinie przedstawią swoją pracę przeciwko propagowaniu illiberalnych narracji i odpowiedzą na pytania.”

“Hier sind einige Bilder von der Eröffnung unserer Ausstellung „Illiberale Realitäten“ und von unserer Podiumsdiskussion am 25. April, bei der Aktivist*innen und Vertreter*innen der Zivilgesellschaft aus Polen
(Dziewuchy Berlin), Rumänien
(Diaspora Civică Berlini) und Ungarn Einblicke in ihre Arbeit gegen die Verbreitung illiberaler Narrative gaben. Zu unseren Hauptthemen gehörten die Auswirkungen von Propaganda auf den Alltag und die Wichtigkeit, eine Situation aus mehreren Kontexten zu betrachten.

Let’s see some pictures from the opening of our exhibition “Illiberal Realities” and from our panel discussion on 25 April, where activists and civil society representatives from Poland (
Dziewuchy Berlin), Romania (
Diaspora Civică Berlin) and Hungary gave insights into their work against the spread of illiberal narratives. Among our main topics was the impact of propaganda on everyday life, the importance of looking at a situation from several contexts.
Thank you to everyone who has already come! And for those who haven’t seen it yet, you can still visit the exhibition until 16 May! Opening hours: from 2pm to 6pm Tuesday to Friday, and until 8pm on Mondays and Tuesdays at the
